TOO-CUTE-TUESDAY...

TWO YEARS AGO...

Each time I look at this again, I keep thinking how she looks like a baby doll in this image. It actually reminds me of the my twinns TODDLER DOLL. EDITTED: I clicked the link and it took me to the regular My Twinn site. There is a section for My Twin todders...this is what I wanted you to compare...so browse around and see if you find the toddler dolls...you'll see what I mean if you do.

A while back I actually went through the steps to create Natalie a My Twinn Todder doll, but at the time they were sold out of the face shape/eye color combo that matched her. So I don't guess she'll be getting one for Christmas since it take a few months to get one since they are custom made.

If you look at these images (using the link), you must agree that her face (especially #152 & 153) does look like one of the toddlers dolls there...which stand to reason...since she was a toddler there 16.5 months old.

Natalie's World has changed tremendously over the last two years ago, but one thing that hasn't changed is that she is just TOO CUTE!

I've seen Not-Me-Monday, Way-Back-Wednesday, Wordless-Wednesday...I am sure there are more, but this is my spin on this. I am bit overwhelmed...quite normal for the time of the year. I know I was two years ago too...which is why I didn't have as many images of Natalie during her toddling years as I have now...starting her blog last year really made me self-conscious of documenting the little things. I still don't have any more time and I really don't have time to record all the thoughts that go with the images as I post them, but I am trying.

So enjoy Too-Cute-Tuesday...though it is almost over as I post this...again better late than never!

MAJOR CUTIE!

These images were captured about year ago to the day. (last year 08.10.07) I was getting ready for a portrait session and Natalie came into my studio and asked me to "take her picture". Who could say no to a request like that to a child who turned two only a few weeks earlier.

If you look really close she has cheeto lips.

This was also about the age of the really fake "cheeses" started occurring very regular. Notice the very last image....SUPER CHEESE!

I was going to post a few images that I took a few minutes ago, but while I was looking around I ran across these. Some of you may have seen these before...it was "pre-blog" days. They were already low res images because I emailed them to several people...so I thought why not post these instead since they are pretty much ready for uploading. I will save the others for tomorrow or the next day.

I have Natalie here this evening. Cameron called me while I was at Wal-mart with Cari getting her school supplies and asked would I watch her tonight while he and Brittany do something. Pretty soon they won't have Natalie's Mimi a few miles away. So I think they wanted to take advantage of it before it they can't. Of course, I am always glad to have her. So I need to get off the computer and go finish her bath that her poppa started just now.

REMEMBER WHEN: Natalie One Year Ago, August 2006

The above image of our litttle walker. Walking was still very new to her as you can tell here. She is wallking toward her little room, the sunroom, where all her toys are kept. Wasn't she just an adorable almost 13 month old!

I really wished I had done this since she was born. I would love to have one like Jonah's, but I was busy working and taking care of a baby and was totally out of the loop. I had never even seen a blog until I saw Jonah's back this past spring. So I will go back and post images from Natalie's recently birthday and then some the year before and her birth. For now I am posting images from August one year ago. Tonight or later today I am going to post images from August 2005, when Natalie was a newborn (some candid images and her first portrait sessions).

The next few images are of Natalie crawling. She could walk, but she couldn't walk through the drop down of the doorway into her room/sunroom. She would go to a crawl. Of course, she eventually learned to walk through the doorway w/o falling, but she did fall a few times before she mastered it. Isn't it how funny we forget about those feats soon after they are accomplished!

Not only is she still crawling in certain situations here, but learning to climb too! The date of all of these were August 26, 2006.

The last two images were taken of Natalie before leaveing for the visitation for Brittany's grandfather's wake. The date of these two were August 11, 2006.
