HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FROM NATALIE

This is Natalie's 3rd Valentine's card. I don't know if we will keep this tradition like we do Christmas cards, but just like Christmas it will be late for most people receiving them by mail. Oh well...what's the phrase: "better late than never".

L is for LOVE!

" L" is for Love.

I wished the long collages would post larger, but you get the idea of what we did with this. I tried this last year, but Natalie tried to eat the foam letters (note to self: purchase wood letters). This year she was just a typical two-year old who really didn't want to cooperate...at least not long enough for her Mimi to focus and compose the shot. We were so frustrated with her when we were shooting, but I laughed as I edited the images. They were really cute...not perfect but too cute!
"I love you this much!"
It's almost Valentine's Day. I will post the final card after while. I am not feeling well today, but I have promised Natalie that we will make Valentine cookies and have lots of work that I need too. I really don't have time to not feel well. I have two sessions tomorrow and a wedding this Saturday. Several sessions next week and then the most of the next week, we will be gone to Memphis for Randy's (aka Poppa) big event this year. ---Natalie's Mimi

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM NATALIE

I was trying to add this image after this year photo in front of the tree. This was taken December 23, 2006. Natalie's 2nd Christmas She is 15 months old.
After much delay, I am going to try to catch up on blogging Natalie's World. Since starting Natalie's World, I have gone through some my busy holiday season, had two big promotions, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, a cruise vacation with my husband and now it's almost Valentine's. I finally spent some time last week trying to edit some images of Natalie that was photographed for the purpose of documenting her days and the blog. I decided to add these significant images that touch on the last few months. I added them and even posted all sort of information about them...as I was doing this Randy was always doing some re-wiring of the house and cut me off. I lost all the information, but not the images. I think because I had already posted the images and then added the text.

So finally some new images. This is our family on the night of the 23rd, our immediate family's Christmas night. It has been our tradition since we moved her in 2000 to celebrate Christmas on the 23rd (Santa just comes a day early). Natalie did mind one bit!

We always take family photo in front of the tree using the tripod and timer. The last two years, I really liked this image.

OUR FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD 2007
If the text is hard to read, here it is: "We're enjoying the Wonder of Christmas this Holiday Season through the eyes of a child." REMBEMER JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!
RANDY, JAMI, CARI, CAMERON, BRITTANY, NATALIE AND PRECIOUS, TOO AND Jami Ainsworth Portraits

It really was a great Christmas watching through Natalie's eyes. It don't know if any Christmas can ever get any better than this one. Her reactions to everything about Christmas was just so precious. As I have said before...she just melts my heart. She is really is my little sweetheart!

Cameron, Brittany and Natalie's Christmas Card.

Some the above LSU Images were shot for the last collage in the studio. The others were shot at LSU as part of her mommy and daddy's engagement portraits.

This photo was the inspiration of our 2007 Christmas Card. She was excited to see Santa until she go there. I was afraid we would have one more Christmas w/o photos of her and Santa, but after much persuasion she did finally do it. At first she would stand behind my back as I was photographing other children, and try to tell him from there what she wanted "pink bubble gum". But Brittany and Cari explained to her in order to get what she wanted she had to go sit in his lap.
Natalie is eating chocolate being bribed (I mean rewarded) to do her Christmas portraits. Of course, the photographer's grandchild wants no part of it.
She did finally cooperate (somewhat).
I think this is very sweet with them holding hands. To those of you who don't know, this is Natalie's six-year old Aunt Emma.
Partitial cooperation....
Natalie being Natalie...
THIS COLLAGE WAS A SURPRIZE TO NATALIE'S DADDY FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. WE TOOK IT DOWN TO BATON ROUGE THE DAY BEFORE HIS BIRTHDAY ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THEN AFTER DOING SOME ENGAGEMENT PORTRAITS, WE WENT TO RALPH AND KACOOS FOR SUPPER.

That's it for now. I will post something for Valentine's soon. And I hope to do some more catch up over the next few weeks or so, but we still have a lot going on. ---Natalie's Mimi
