CHOCOLATE SUNDAE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP

A little story behind the chocolate sundae. I love to get Carmel Java Chillers at the Sonic. I introduced Natalie to shakes first and then to chocolate sundae. The Saturday night that I picked her up at Nonna's house (before Labor Day/the storm), we took Natalie to McDonald's since she had already had supper (we hadn't), she got a sundae. She wanted a cherry on top. Remember the post of her eating desert before moving at the Mexican restaurant. That's when I found out how much she loves the cherry on top too. Of course, McDonald's sundae do not have cherries on top. She still enjoyed her sundae, but before she had to go back to BR, I wanted to make sure she had one more sundae, but this time WITH A CHERRY ON TOP!
I gave Cari my camera to document this adventure. This is me handing her the sundae!
her reaction of anticipation...

I know it's blurred probably because of the movement. This is her getting the sundae.

too cute, huh?

I put her bib on her over her car seat. I am so glad that I did. She thoroughly enjoyed this Sundae. And car seat would have enjoyed it almost as much had I not had the bib. I know some of you had long go rid of the bibs by the time your child turned three, but not me. I tried to make my kids (and Natalie too) wear them until they are 3 or 4. I would rather have stained bibs than clothes.

Then Poppa enjoyed the rest of what she didn't eat. What a mess, but what a fun memory too!

THE MINIATURE BRIDE WHO LOVED CHOCOLATE

Here she is before the chocolate about a week earlier with her mommy during their formal bridal portrait session for the upcoming wedding.
At the wedding:
As soon as the wedding party arrived and were annouced, the bride and groom had their first dance as husband and wife. While they were dancing Natalie discovered the strawberries and the chocolate fountain: strawberries and chocolate two of her favorites things!

Natalie licking her lips while her mommy and daddy are in the background dancing. another mouthful...

Please be sure to scroll down and view the wedding images and then scroll a little further to see Natalie at the last wedding eating chocolate again. Natalie loves chocolate probably as much as her Mimi does!

Also check out the other posts that I finally finished that I meant to finish before the wedding and before I posted any wedding images. I am officially caught up to the point of the wedding. I still need to add a few images that we captured with the new wading pool on Monday. Mommy and Daddy shouldn't be the only ones having water fun this week (while on their honeymoon)! I will try to get those up soon!

NATALIE LOVES CHOCOLATE

This was supposed to be the first image to appear. It showed up in my "preview". So I don't really know what I did wrong.

Natalie Loves Chocolate

Yes, Natalie loves chocolate just like her Mimi. When she woke up from the long high chair nap, she wasn't in a very good mood. So I offered her the last 4 m&m's in her package from yesterday. I kept working a few more minutes on the computer. Before I knew, this was the scene that I saw in the kitchen doorway. My first impulse was to grab the whole chocolate bar from her. Then I laughed and got the camera out instead. I hope to have that response more and more. And I think I will since since I can share our funny moments on the blog. How cool is that!

Cari brought home the "World's Finest Chocolate" to sell for school. Randy had bought all the almond/chocolate bars from her. They were laying on the counter. My guess is that Natalie thought this was an open invitation for her to have one on him! After I finished taking a few photos, I tried to get her to give me half of it so that she wouldn't eat a whole candy bar. Of course, that really ticked her off! So to avoid the fit, I made her share it with me. So I guess you can say we both won that battle. LOL!
This is Natalie not sharing her chocolate with Mimi or Precious...notice Precious in the corner. I kept trying to get her out of the way so that I take the photo; then I realized that it added to it.
So that's really it for the day.
