MONDAY MEMORY (weekend memory highlight)

We attended Brooke's high school graduation Friday night! Natalie had so much fun later in the evening trying on her cap and gown and all the other "accessories"!

I don't know if I will do this every weekend, but I thought of another weekly post: MONDAY MEMORY (a quick post of one image until I have time to get caught up on other posts or finish editing the weekends' images...something to show we're still alive and busy...a image that summarizes our weekend...okay, maybe you get what I am saying!)

Kittens at Wal-mart?

We have kittens that turned 4 weeks old yesterday. And of course, Natalie loves to play with them. She likes to pretend they are her babies. Now tell me, what girl, at some time in their little girl life, didn't play that either a puppy or a kitten was her live little baby doll.

Here's what I over heard while Natalie is trying to keep the kitten in the doll stoller:
"You can't get out because we're at Wal-mart!"

I love it! I just had to share that. If I could mentally process the weekend, I am sure that I could have two or three of these stories to share, but for now that's the most recent CUTE thing she said. Kids really do say the darndest things!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY (Take 2)

The above photo screams "Raise your hands, if your SURE!" [SURE deodorant commercial]
Our little crawler...

Natalie wearing her first cotton logo tee (onsie) that we got for her in Memphis a few months earlier. I love the cotton logo and I love that Natalie can recognize it!

Okay, I need to be getting busy packing to go to my mom's for the weekend and for Brooke's graduation tonight. BUT...I couldn't close this folder of Natalie at 9 months old w/o posting a few more faves.

FLASHBACK FRIDAY...

Natalie at 9 months old.
May 2006
It's so fun to see how much Natalie has changed in three years, but it is also intersting to see how much I have grown as a digital photographer...digital and doing my own enhancements and retouching was still so new in 2006. Though often I still feel like it is so new because I am still learning so much. This first and last image I did some quick retouching today. I absolutely hate to post anything w/o some kind of retouching these days.
(She has just discovered the "thing" on her wrist. So precious!)
This was or mabe not retouched soon after the session in '06. What a difference in the first one and last one.

Happy Baby!

I miss that little baby, but I love the sweet, loving little girl that has grown from that infant/almost toddler that she was in these images photographed on May 11, 2006..

TERRIFIC THURSDAY

I can't seem to find time to finish updating Natalie's World because I can't seem to find the time to finish editing her Easter Pics. I have several blog posts that I want to add, but I confess that I don't have as many as I should because I have been a slacker with photos lately probably because I am already behind and I know it will put me even more behind. But since it had been a week since I posted, I scanned through some folders and came up with an image to post for now. Randy and I recently introduced Natalie to picking wild blackberries in the woods on the hunting club. This is one of my faves from the evening. I do have more that I plan to post soon. As soon as I can, I will share the whole Picking Wild Blackberries story.
