TRYING TO PLAY CATCH-UP: JUNE 27TH (the day after the circus) PART: 2

A LITTLE FUN IN THE SUN BEFORE NAPTIME:

The summer always brings new routine around our home as it probably does for many homes. But since Natalie's first summer (other than the one that she was born '05), we have had simple above ground pool from Wal-mart. The first one Cari and I bought she paid for 1/2 of it with money that she had saved. Randy (Cari's dad/Natalie's poppa) complained about it and the it probably wouldn't last. Since that day, he took it all back. He loved it and he loved maintaining it; the only problem we had was the pump not lasting. So after two summers we retired our first $300 dollar pool. We all agreed that we got our $300 dollars worth out of it. So this year we moved up and again Randy has enjoyed maintaining the water (and swimming too since it is really big enough!), but Natalie and Cari really enjoys the sun and fun. Cari's spends her time after lunch everyday maintaining and increasing her summer glow (she has a very pretty coppertone tan this year). And Natalie and I play for about 1 hour each day after lunch. It really wears her down. And then after a quick bath and hair washing, a then few good books...she out... she usually falls alseep in my arms while I am reading to her. It is truly very sweet!

Cari, Alexa and Natalie stop and posed for the first image and the photos. Cari is blowing up the air mattress so that Alexa will have a nice raft to float on too while they both visit and soak up the rays together. Oh! isn't summer the best! I still remember when my best friend and I did this. We didn't have a pool, but we spend many hours soaking up the sun and just visiting...you know "good old-fashion girl talk".
Natalie jumping up and down and acting silly!
"cheese!"
THIS IS WHAT "BEST FRIENDS" LOOK LIKE!
DITTO!
And this is Aunt Cari being silly with Natalie!
again...she's making Alexa and Natalie laugh! Now that I think about it, maybe Alexa is laughing at Natalie (I can't see Nat's expresssion, but I am sure it is funny!).
OOPS!

The end!

That's it for this one. Summer is lots of fun!
